4th Annual Muscadine Balloon Fiesta A Huge Success

Monroe Life Magazine’s 4th Annual Muscadine Balloon Fiesta returned to East Tennessee this past September at Tsali Notch Vineyard. Over 5,000 people came out to enjoy balloon rides, live music, food, games and much more while supporting CASA Monroe. 20 of the most talented balloon pilots in the country provided excitement and entertainment to the community during this East Tennessee fall tradition. Thanks to the volunteers, pilots, vendors, and sponsors Monroe Life Magazine’s 4th Annual Muscadine Balloon Fiesta was able to raise close to $60,000 for CASA Monroe.

“I have never been more grateful for the support of this event. The media went all out for us,” says Lisa Bingham, publisher of Monroe Life Magazine and owner of The Bingham Group, a long-time supporter of CASA Monroe and the company responsible for founding the event. “I just wish they could see the faces of the children they have helped. CASA helped over 100 kids in September alone. I feel like everything I have worked for comes together for an event that serves a much greater purpose.”

The Mission of CASA Monroe (Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children)

The mission of CASA Monroe is to promote and support court-appointed volunteer advocacy to represent the best interest of children who find themselves in the court system because of abuse or neglect. We recognize that the welfare of all children should be a priority. The goal of CASA volunteers is to gather critical and objective information to be used by the court in deciding the most beneficial placement of such a child, aiming for a safe and permanent home in which they can grow and thrive, something every child deserves.
